Ruqayyah Boyer has been crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2012 by Leila Lopes (Miss Universe 2011) who is a special guest at the Miss Universe Guyana 2012 beauty pageant which was held at the Princess Hotel on Saturday night of 15th September, 2012. She will compete in Miss Universe 2012.
Suriname born raqayya Boyer has been crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2012...her parents are Guyanese and she has lived most of her life in Guyana... Boyer also won the Miss linden town week 2010 pageant but failed to place in the miss Guyana world 2011 pageant. Fadeyah King placed 4th while Nakeshia Alexander standing right placed 3rd Miss angola Leila Lopes crowned the queen.
